In this episode, Andy’s teammate Brent Venegas III discusses what he’s seen from Vences this training camp and the bond they share. Ivan “Bam Bam” Najera talks about his tough 10-round sparring session with Vences and gives his overall impression of Stockton and the Bay Area. Andy Vences discusses why he makes the daily commute from San Jose to train in Stockton, being in top shape despite battling some personal issues recently, a potential sponsorship deal with Nike, and he gives a message for his upcoming opponent, Casey Ramos.
San Jose boxer Andy “El Tiburon” Vences (16-0, 10 KO) is set to fight for the WBC Continental Americas super featherweight championship against Casey “The Wizard” Ramos (23-0, 6 KO) on Nov. 4 at the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The fight will be the main event of the “Solo Boxeo” series televised on UniMas, one night before the Manny Pacquiao vs Jessie Vargas pay-per-view.
